History of MKA

On 31 January 1938, 10 youths of Qadian gathered at the residence of Sheikh Mahboob Alam Khalid. Their purpose was to endeavour for the progress of the Ahmadiyya community and to assist Khilafat. These youths elected the office bearers of the Majlis in their first gathering. The first name was suggested in the election and then, it was seconded. Maulvi Qamaruddin was elected as the president and Sheikh Mahboob Alam Khalid as secretary.
Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra), Khalifatul Masih II approved this on 4 February 1938 and named the organization Khuddam-ul-Ahmadiyya with his blessed pen.

“I want to bring the attention of the youth of Jama’at to this matter that The Ahmadiyya Movement has been given the responsibility of creating a grand spiritual revolution in the world.”

Our Leadership

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community and all its auxiliary organizations are led by the Khalifa, His Holiness Hazrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad. Each country with an established Majlis Khuddamul Ahmadiyya is led by a national President called the Sadr Majlis, who has an Executive board on the National, Regional, and Local levels.

Humanity

The MKA (MKA Malaysia) takes its inspiration for its charitable initiatives from the example of the Founder of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). He has been referred in the Holy Quran as ‘Mercy for all the Worlds’ and this is reflected in his teachings and practice. He was a source of peace and mercy for all and left behind teachings encouraging his followers to do the same.

He sought to protect the rights of the oppressed and subjugated, he elevated the rank of women in a society which despised them, he established the rights of animals and even trees.
